Update on Literacy Aotearoa Services

As Auckland is currently in Level 3 Lockdown until Wednesday midnight, and the rest of New Zealand is in Level 2 Lockdown for the same period of time, Literacy Aotearoa has made the following changes to the delivery of its programmes.

For our sites under Level 2 Lockdown (everywhere outside of Greater Auckland, Cluster Two), the delivery of our programmes can continue as planned, but needs to adhere to the rules of lockdown, or rules identified by any stakeholders or organisation we work with (such as MSD or local councils). As such learners and staff are advised that they must keep two metres away from each other in public spaces, and one metre away from each other in the workplace. Travel between other regions also under Level 2 restrictions is permitted.

In areas covered by Level 3 Lockdown (Greater Auckland, Cluster Two), all face to face delivery of programmes has been suspended pending a move down of Alert Level 2. Where possible we are arranging for delivery to continue remotely via online. Our Site Coordinators in Auckland have been contacting learners and stakeholders to keep them up to date with how and when delivery of programmes will continue.

We send our best wishes and aroha to everyone.
