Television Commercials
In Pipiri (June) 2005, Literacy Aotearoa was selected as one of nine recipients of the TVNZ Community Support Foundation.
Promotion of each recipient and the services they offer takes the form of television commercials. Development and production of the commercials is the responsibility of each recipient and once completed, advertising time is allocated at no cost.
Actor, producer and director in stage, television and film, Don Selwyn (Ngāti Kuri and Te Aupouri) and his crew from He Taonga Films, very generously donated their time, equipment and expertise to produce these commercials for Literacy Aotearoa.
Students from Ngā Poupou (member providers) participated in the filming of the commercials at the National Office in Auckland and during a literacy session in Waitakere City.
